The field trip wasn't quite enough excitement for the day, so Mr. Nelson decided to throw in a little Track and Field Day to make sure the kindergartners were completely exhausted by the end of the day! All the kindergarten classes headed out for a sample of some of the activities they will do next year for their first official Track and Field Day. The best part, of course, was the popsicle at the end! I think we will have some tired kiddos (and one tired teacher) tonight.
What a fantastic day to be at the zoo! The kindergartners had a great time and were so kind and respectful. The bus driver said it was the best group she had all year! A huge thank you to all the chaperones. We couldn't do it without you!
Wow! This is a talented group of "Show Biz Kids", as we call them here in Kindergarten. They put on an amazing program today. We are so proud of each kindergarten star!
We have been busy studying the authors and illustrators of the Curious George series, Margret and H.A. Rey. The kindergartners have become experts on these talented authors, and we are busy creating our own Curious George story, written in the style of Margret and H.A. They will be bringing a copy of the story home soon!
