Today we learned about a new tool, our Reader's Notebook. In our Reader's Notebook, we respond to a story we have read. I read the class a book called I Listen. After we talked about the book, the class went back to their table spots and drew what it looked like to be a good listener. Then, we gather perimeter on our rug to share our work. Emily taught us about using speech bubbles in our pictures. We each get to share with a partner, so every body can talk about his/her work. I was so proud of their work with this new tool!
