We were lucky enough to have visitors from The Works Museum come to Northview! We did experiments that helped us observe changes in materials. We also followed a recipe to make our own slime! Our class was respectful and made great science observations!

I was amazed today when I watched Mr. Nelson, Mrs. Mueller, and the kindergartners roller skating! They were working so hard. I loved the determined looks. Lots of falls, but so many just popped back up to try again. I was very proud. Keep up the great work, kindergartners!
The kindergartners did a great job on Sharing Day! They spoke clearly, and they all had fun things to tell us. Thank you for practicing with your child at home! Here are some of the interesting items we learned about.
Each morning, we start our day with a Morning Meeting. We greet each other, share news, read the message, and take part in a community-building special activity. This special activity might be a game, song, or dance. One of our favorites is the Gummy Bear Song! We watch it on the smart board and follow the dance moves we see. It is a fun way to start our day, and it helps get some of our wiggles out! A few of our friends were even asked to be guest dancers on the Northview News this morning! They were amazing. You can look up "Gummy Bear Song Just Dance" on Youtube (if you haven't been asked to already) in order to see your child's dance moves.
